Why try StickFrag?
The comic-book look is the hook: thick outlines, flat colors and small arenas full of things to duck behind. The other attraction is how little stands between the link and a match. A nickname is enough to get started, and bots give you something to play against without organizing a group first.
It is a good fit for a desktop shooting break. It is less suitable if you want a gentle puzzle or a game you can play one-handed on your phone.
How do you start and control it?
Open StickFrag, choose a nickname and use the play menu to join a match, train against bots or create a room. Move with WASD, aim with the mouse and click to fire. R reloads and Space jumps. The game lists the rest of the controls on its homepage.
Use a keyboard and mouse. Expect to learn the maps and controls as you play; getting into a match is simple, but that does not make every fight easy.
Can you play with friends or bots?
StickFrag supports both. Create a friends room and share its invite link or room code. Bots can fill empty places, and the play menu also offers training against bots. Quick Join looks for an existing match.
In our check, a room code opened the same running Yard match in a second browser tab. Bots filled the match, and we could choose a loadout and deploy.
Does StickFrag work on a phone?
StickFrag is currently a desktop game. Its site says mobile support is coming later and asks for a keyboard and mouse. If you found it on your phone, this one is worth switching to a computer for.
Expect gunfire effects and fast movement. We keep it out of Distractory’s automatic random picks because of that motion, while leaving it available to choose yourself.
Is it free, and do you need an account?
StickFrag is free to play, with no account or game download required. Pick a nickname rather than providing an email address.
Playing without an account does not mean nothing is stored. Its privacy policy describes a browser code for progress, server-side stats and nicknames that may appear on public leaderboards. Use a nickname you are comfortable making public.
What did we check?
We checked StickFrag on October 8 and 9, 2026: creating a friends room, joining by room code, choosing a loadout and deploying into a team match with bots. We observed movement, changing scores, death and respawn. Distractory’s editor also played on a computer and confirmed that aiming and shooting worked.
We checked the official controls, desktop requirements, operator details and privacy information against the site on October 9.
